What do we want to happen in East Linton?

Gathering ideas for East Linton through a survey.

Over the summer of 2019 Climate Action East Linton shared a survey within East Linton to learn what different sustainability areas were of importance to the community and gather different ideas for what would be useful in the East Linton area.

60 members of the community responded to the survey, either online or in paper form (with post boxes for forms made available at the community fair, community hall, library, and Mart and the survey printed in ELDA).

Based on this, and ideas received during CAEL monthly meetings, a list of ideas was collated and priority areas identified.  Reducing waste and consumption was a priority area, from which the idea of the Fixing for a Future project was developed, and funding approved.

Other themes and priority areas have also been identified: Biodiversity, Renewable Energy and Local work and travel.
