The group started with the name ‘East Linton Melting Pot’, which reflected what matters the most: we are all in this together at different stages on our ‘sustainability’ journeys, none of us are perfect, but we can support each other and work together to take sometimes baby steps and sometimes big steps forward.  It all helps and it all matters.  These values remain really important.  Core values are:

• Friendly and inclusive: everyone in the community matters

• Non-judgemental

• Respectful

• Not political

• And last but very much not least:  care for our world: locally and globally. 

Where we can we aim to work together with existing groups within East Linton and collaborate together where there are areas of common interest.
