Car charging points in the village: a great range of charging points for electric cars – for rapid, fast and slow charge.  These can be found opposite the doctor’s surgery.

I switched our energy supplier to one which is 100% renewable electricity.

A few years ago I realised that all the things we buy has a big carbon footprint in the making of it all. I pledged to myself to try to buy the things we need second hand whenever possible…we are now active users of Gumtree, eBay, local Facebook groups and swapping with friends. But a word of warning – as it all comes so cheap it hasn’t reduced the amount of clutter in our house… thank goodness for Zero Waste in Dunbar!
